Abolish Ice T-Shirt
Friends, this year I found myself gravitating towards working in education. There is a similar joy I see in art and teaching. I think it’s the process of seeing something filled with so much potential to grow from your guidance. Since starting my certification program, I have been working as a paraprofessional at an elementary school in Houston. And to be transparent, the job doesn’t cover the bills, I make less than half of what teachers make, and we already know how underpaid teachers are. I make this post because I will be needing to renew my DACA in the coming months. So, to help me cover the application costs, I have designed this shirt and will be selling it on my art shop!!
Any leftover profit I make I will be donating it to my friends who are also DACA recipients.
